let's be earnest.

Last night, for FHE my mom had me and my dad sit down and watch a youtube video.
It was of Randy Pausch, a man who had Cancer and was going to die in 6 months. The video was called "the last lecture" and it wasn't a short video let me tell you. Yes it was about 1 hour and 16 minutes long. But, I loved every minute of it.
Probably one of the moest inspiring and touching things ever to me.
Sometimes people struggle with things, but I love it because the next day you realize the good thing that happened yesterday, was meant for you. For you to realize that you are blessed, and people love and care so much for you.
I am so blessed.
I have a lot of quotes, or sayings from the video that really stuck out to me.
such as;
It's not what cards were dealt, it's how we play them. -So important. Yes, we will all have trials in our lives, but we should be grateful for them. We should be thankful we get experience. Because, getting trials and hardtimes means that your human. It's meant to happen. Play your cards well, and be happy.
Brick walls are there for a reason: they let us prove how badly we want things. -When you fail, or mess up it's actually good. You need to move on past those mess-ups because it shows how bad you want to succeed. Shows how much work you will put into trying your best.
When your screwing up and no one bothers to tell you anymore, that's when they've given up on you. -wow. so completely honest. people try to help you, yes they criticize but it's because they care, and they are trying to help you. notice that.
Experience is what you get when you didn't get what you wanted. -Notice that when you fail, you need to get back up, and keep playing the game. Because, when you mess up, you learn.

Life is so crazy. But why sit here and complain and not live every moment up? If you feel unhappy, don't complain. Fix it. You are the controller of your emotions, no one else. You control how you react. Be kind to others. Love who you are. If you are unhappy, do things that make you happy. Accept others faults, and your own. And be who your heavenly father wants you to be. There is so much in store for us all. We are so blessed.
We need to be more earnest. Not trying to get what we want, but working to get it.
