I'm going to be blunt;
Nobody is perfect, someone could be perfect in one individuals eyes, but 100% of the time there is at least ONE flaw about them, no matter how important they are to you. Nobody is perfect because we all have a different definition of what perfection is. Once society stops judging and humans learn not to visually judge only then, we can really define what perfection is, but we need time, and patience, and perfection cannot be mastered. It just can't.
Everyone has flaws and scars, but that's what makes you who you are. And God made you that way, so why change to fit in? Makes no sense. Every single day of our lives we may struggle with finding who we are, or trying to be accepted by those around us. But that's life. You've gotta accept it.
No one can tell you who is perfect because no one is. The only perfection you could ever accomplish is through your Heavenly Father, and chances are, that won't happen until you die. Not to be un-realistic about all of this, but I'm just telling you. Don't tell yourself you need or have to be perfect. Because you will not be able to accomplish perfection, no one can. Nothing's wrong with you. It's just how it is. Life goes that way. You're still amazing. So don't feel down about it. But don't go expecting too much out of yourself. Be happy with who you are.
To be honest, the only thing i believe you can be completely perfect at, is being happy.
So if you want to be a little perfect, just be happy. It's that easy (:

Angela, this is great advice in steps to overcoming perfectionism. I myself am struggling to realize that I am not perfect, however, when I do so I feel as though I will be settling for mediocrity. I am trying to change and I like using the tactics on http://onlineceucredit.com/edu/social-work-ceus-sea because they help me to ignore my inner critic. I suggest taking a look and hope it helps.
