the perfection of his love.

just been pondering my scriptures when i found this:
ST MARK CHAPTER 9
23: Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe,
all things are possible to him that believeth.

24: And straightway the father of the child
cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe;
help thou mine unbelief.

27: But Jesus took him by the hand,
and lifted him up; and he arose.

meanings to me:
on #23.. anything is possible if you believe in christ. and you put your faith in him. he will help you along your journey. sometimes, he wont give you everything you want, but more of things that you need.
#24.. you can pray unto God telling him you believe, and pointing out that sometimes when you are in unbelief that you need help. you believe, but sometimes doubt. it's normal. don't feel like your dumb. put your trust in God, he will help you notice that this is real. the gospel of jesus christ is restored. and is 100% true. come to realize that, and if you already do, try to strengthen that knowledge.
and #27.. Jesus Christ is with us throughout our whole journey. not through only happy moments. he is there through everything. he is here for anything.
a quick quote:
"one night i dreamed i was walking along the beach
with the lord. scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
in each, i noticed footprints in the sand. sometimes there
were two sets of footprints; other times there was only one.

during the lowest times of my life i could see only one set
of footprints, so i said, "lord, you promised me, that you
would walk with me always. why, when i have needed you
most, would you leave me?"

the lord replied: "my precious child, i love you and would
never leave you. the times when you have seen only one
set of footprints, it was then that i carried you."

that quote brings tears to my eyes as i think that my lord is there
through everything for me. sometimes he is holding my hand while
i walk, others he is carrying me through the rough times.
HE IS ALWAYS THERE. never doubt that.

"there is a story of a grandfather, a holy man, who, caring for his grandson,
sent him out to play. shortly the boy returned sobbing as if his heart would
break. he explained, 'I was playing hide-and-seek with my friends. I went
and hid and waited, but no one came for me. they all ran away.' the
grandfather embraced him and said, 'now you know how God feels.
he hides, and no one comes for him."

your heavenly father is always there for you.
remember that throughout this new school year, and always.
he wont judge you. he will help you. he loves you.
